Due to a large number of building works on site, parking on the Harwell Campus is extremely limited and visitors’ parking cannot be guaranteed. We strongly recommend travelling by public transport, where possible, if you are attending a meeting or event at Diamond.

From the A34 (northbound)

Take the exit at Chilton, where the A34 meets the A4185, it will be signposted for Chilton Harwell Campus, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.

At the end of the slip road there is a roundabout, take the first exit and after about half a mile you will come to the entrance to the Harwell Campus.

Turn left at the roundabout onto Fermi Avenue. Go straight across two roundabouts and continue down Fermi Avenue until you see the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory main gate on the left, which is the main entrance for Diamond visitors.

  

From the A34 (southbound)

Take the exit at Chilton, where the A34 meets the A4185, it will be signposted for Chilton Harwell Campus, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.

At the end of the slip road there is a roundabout, take the second exit. Then turn right at the 3^rd exit at the next roundabout (going over the A34) and onto the A4185. Cross over the next roundabout (2^nd exit) and after about half a mile you will come to the entrance to the Harwell Campus.  

Turn left at the roundabout onto Fermi Avenue. Go straight across two roundabouts and continue down Fermi Avenue until you see the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory main gate on the left, which is the main entrance for Diamond visitors.
