The Harwell Science and Innovation Campus is six miles south-west of Didcot Parkway station, less than 60 minutes journey from London Paddington. Didcot also provides connections to Birmingham, the West of England and South Wales.

Local buses
A regular bus service also runs to the campus: Thames Travel's has several bus services which serve Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot and Wantage to and from RAL (ask for the Harwell IBC Bus Station, Fermi Avenue). Click for timetables of the X32/X33/33, X34 and 98.
The main gate can be found approx. 150 m from the bus station on the opposite side of Fermi Avenue.
Science Transit Shuttle
The service enables academics, research staff, students and visitors to move quickly and conveniently to best make use of these cutting edge scientific and clinical research facilities. There are two Shuttle Routes operating every 30 minutes between 7am-7pm weekdays; Route ST1: Oxford/Science Area (Mansfield Road) to Harwell Campus and Route ST2: Oxford/Science Area (Mansfield Road) to Old Road Campus.
