Current Research Interests
My research is focused on exploring the mechanisms of metalloproteins through the integration of time-resolved crystallography and spectroscopy techniques. X-ray spectroscopy plays a crucial role in investigating the electronic characteristics of metal ions and offers a sensitive means to monitor radiation damage. Time-resolved serial X-ray crystallography provides detailed snapshots of macromolecular structures and ligand interactions during reaction processes. While combining these techniques presents challenges in sample delivery and preparation, they can be effectively utilized at both synchrotron and XFEL sources, enabling comprehensive analysis of dynamic biological systems.
