This lab is designed for analysing samples using the instrumentation. Only limited sample preparation can be conducted in this lab with non-hazardous substances. Users wanting to carry out biological, chemical or material sample preparation are encouraged to use labs 11 and 12, which are designed for biological and chemical sample preparation.

This lab contains the consolidated Offline instrumentation from all four Soft Condensed Matter beamlines. In addition to bench space, the following instrumentation is available:
The instrumentation and equipment are available for use during your beamtime and as offline standalone instruments. For use of the instrumentation during your beamtime, please include the instrument when completing the Lab Risk Assessment Form which can be found through the UAS under the 'lab access' section of your ERA. If you wish to use the equipment independent of your beamtime, see Offline Access section of the Diamond website for information on how to gain access.
