Who is the event for?
This informative and hands-on event is aimed at KS5 students who are interested in engineering careers. Attendance is free and a tour of the Diamond synchrotron and lunch are provided. Teachers and careers advisors are also welcome.
What happens on the day?
The day is split into four sessions, each lasting 45 minutes. The sessions provide insights into different aspects of science and will include workshops from Diamond/STFC engineers and external companites and a tour of Diamond.
Who can attend?
Numbers for this event are limited - a maximum of 20 students from each school can attend.
