Richard Walker

Dr Richard Walker joined Diamond Light Source as Technical Director in January 2002. He was a member of the Daresbury Laboratory SRS team for over 12 years before joining Sincrotrone Trieste in Italy Italy as Head of the Insertion Devices Group before becoming Director of the Light Sources Division. Dr Walker is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and was visiting Professor of Physics at the University of Oxford from 2005-2023.
