Publications

Access the Diamond Publications Database

To be included in our database, scholarly output must meet the following conditions:

1. The publication must reference data collected on at least one of Diamond's instruments or offline facilities; or 
2. The publication must have been co-authored by at least one employee of Diamond; or 
3. The research must have received direct funding from Diamond (e.g. Studentship)

Articles which only mention Diamond but have not been authored by a Diamond employee are excluded from the database.  

Diamond uses a collection of automated tools and alerts from databases and publishers to discover the Diamond scholarly outputs. 

Each article is then reviewed by our Librarian who checks the validity of the publication and inputs additional metadata to the record in the Diamond Publications Database for example:

• which instruments were referenced
• the related proposal numbers

We also label publications according to our internal scientific and technical taxonomy.

Please use the following statement in each publication referencing Diamond's data:

"We acknowledge Diamond Light Source for time on [beamline(s)number/offline lab/other facility] under proposal [proposal number/ID]"

You request will be examined by our Librarian within 7 days, if after 7 days the publication is not added to our database, please contact us via email.
