Diamond curates, tracks and catalogues scholarly outputs that result from the usage of the scientific instruments or from direct funding from the organisation.
The Diamond publications database is a repository of the journal articles, conference papers, PhD theses and book chapters related to the facility.
To be included in our database, scholarly output must meet the following conditions:
Articles which only mention Diamond but have not been authored by a Diamond employee are excluded from the database.
Diamond uses a collection of automated tools and alerts from databases and publishers to discover the Diamond scholarly outputs.
Each article is then reviewed by our Librarian who checks the validity of the publication and inputs additional metadata to the record in the Diamond Publications Database for example:
We also label publications according to our internal scientific and technical taxonomy.
Please use the following statement in each publication referencing Diamond's data:
"We acknowledge Diamond Light Source for time on [beamline(s)number/offline lab/other facility] under proposal [proposal number/ID]"

You request will be examined by our Librarian within 7 days, if after 7 days the publication is not added to our database, please contact us via email.
