Hannah’s journey in science began at the age of 17, starting as an R&D technician in Dentistry. She then transitioned to a role as a Biochemical Scientist, specialising in blood coagulation, before moving to Diamond to work in the fields of Active Materials and Optics & Metrology.

Whilst working at Diamond, she has been pursuing a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Ulster University in Ireland and she is now in her final year. Her dissertation, which focuses on infectious diseases, reflects her keen interest in this area. Among her academic pursuits, immunology stands out as her favourite subject.
