At Diamond Light Source, we provide a comprehensive suite of macromolecular crystallography (MX) resources designed to support industry users at every stage of their structural biology workflow.
MX Resources
Beamlines
Our portfolio of MX beamlines suits a range of different experiments. We constantly review, update and commission new capabilities to meet the on-going needs of our users.
Streamlined Processing
Our streamlined processes help to easily follow up the sample logistics, and allow fast experimental throughput. The sample management interface ISPyB provides the perfect platform for you to combine and track information across diffracted samples, review your experiments, provide an overview of data quality, and facilitate analysis.
Software pipelines
The Data Acquisition system (GDA) is an invaluable tool for data collection. Our auto-processing software pipeline enables collected data to be processed and assessed within minutes, providing users with rapid feedback to guide further data collection. A range of standard software for crystallographic analysis is available for our industrial MX users, provided you have the relevant user licenses.
Expert support
MX experts from our Industrial Liaison team are on hand to guide you throughout your experimental work to ensure you get the best results. If required, they can conduct both data collection and analysis on your behalf.
Training
Our team of experts can provide software training and beamline familiarisation ahead of your experimental session.
Crystallisation services
Our crystallisation services are closely linked with our services for Macromolecular Crystallography (MX/PX), Fragment Screening and cryo-Electron Microscopy (eBIC) providing a complete pipeline for structural biology. The service includes membrane protein purification and quality control, as well as protein crystallisation screening and optimisation for both soluble and membrane protein samples.
