We offer a comprehensive range of resources for our industrial users, including the following:
XRF Resources
Technique
Diverse beamlines
A wide range of beamlines, covering a variety of XRF techniques and experimental conditions to suit your research needs.
Dedicated sample environments
An extensive range of environments tailored for specific experiments.
Expert support and training:
On-site assistance from Diamond’s spectroscopy experts during your experimental time.
Dedicated laboratories
- Pellet press: To compress powdered materials into pellets for richer data acquisition
- Drying oven: To prepare samples under optimal conditions before experiments
- Centrifuge: To separate fluids, gases, or liquids based on density for clearer molecular spectra interpretation
- Glove boxes: Two available (dry but solvent-tolerant Ar, and O2-free but water-tolerant) for the safe handling of sensitive materials
- Fume hoods: To protect against hazardous fumes, vapours, or dusts, with two fume hoods and a deionised water supply in each wet lab
- Cryo-microtome: To cut extremely thin slices of material to optimise spectroscopy experiments
Streamlined protocols
Streamlined procedures for the storage and sample changeover of radioactive materials.
Training
Including our annual XAS workshop for new users and a summer school covering the full range of Diamond research techniques.
